The Waning Moon in Libra

Three quarters of the way through this first Lunar month of the year 2021, the Moon transits the air sign of Libra.  Libra is the constellation of balance and harmony; it represents the sense of mutuality we acquire through our conscientious action in relationships.  The Planetary Ruler of Libra is Venus, currently sitting in Capricorn alongside Saturn and Jupiter, (all square to Uranus) with the Sun and Mercury, also in Capricorn, square to Mars.  The assertive fire of Mars and Uranus in Aries, if directed impartially, can be used to boost our will power allowing us to break free from unhealthy attachments.

In relation to our Kriya and the opening of our higher centres, any eliminating or letting go, whether it be physical, emotional or mental is further empowered by the energy of a waning Moon.

The Moons’  harmonious Trine to Neptune, in Aquarius, suggests a natural receptivity to accept the unknown and the required faith to open into the vastness of visions and dreams.  And that a more unconventional or even eccentric way of assimilating and communicating may spontaneously occur.

Speak with integrity.  Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love…

Try this to…

Keep your balance . Anchor your vision in reality.  Make your hopes and dreams come true.


Stretch your arms straight out to the sides, parallel to the floor, elbows straight.  Right palm faces up to the Heavens and the left faces down toward the magnetic field of the Earth.  Close your eyes, breathe calmly, long and slow and deep, and meditate on this balance between Heaven and Earth. Time 5 minutes.

NB – after about a minute and a half the effects of this exercise on the pituitary gland will be felt… stay calm, breathe, train your brain that you are not going to give up no matter what..

To Finish: Hold the position and begin breath of fire for 15 seconds. Then lock the hands, inhale and hold the breath for 15 seconds as you stretch the hands, arms and entire spine upwards.. Exhale. Repeat twice.
