Sit in Sukhasana (easy pose) with a straight spine. Relax the arms and place the hands in a Mudra of your own choosing. Keep your eyes OPEN. This Kriya is performed with a rapid and powerful breath.
Pucker your lips and inhale through the mouth, taking in as much air as possible – this equals one stroke….. 1second.
Exhale through the nose in one powerful stroke… 1second.
To finish:
Inhale deeply and hold the breath for 10-15 seconds. Exhale.
Inhale deeply and hold the breath for 5 seconds. Exhale.
Inhale deeply and hold the breath for 5 seconds. Exhale.
Inhale deeply and hold the breath for 25 seconds. Exhale.
