Dog Breath
Sit in Sukhasana/ Easy Pose with your chin in and your chest out. Stick your tongue out as far as possible and keep it out as you rapidly breathe in and out through your mouth. This is called Dog Breath. Pump the diaphragm inwardly on the exhalation with as much force as you can muster. Continue this diaphragmatic breath for 3-5 minutes.
To finish: Inhale and hold the breath for 15 seconds whilst you push the tongue against the upper palate. Exhale. Repeat this sequence twice more.
This exercise will energize your immune system and bring healing to an over stressed immune system weakened from modern life, the eating of animal flesh full of hormones, and electromagnetic pollution.
When you feel a tingling in your toes, thighs, and lower back it is an indication that you are doing the exercise correctly.
