Try this once a month with the Full Moon, or as an extended Kriya if you really want to know the truth about Self. This meditation will develop your emotional body, allow you to feel secure and thus open your receptivity to the care and comfort that nurture the human vehicle.

Sit in any comfortable meditative posture with a straight spine. Place the right on top of the left hand with the palms of the hands facing downwards and extend the thumbs towards the body, touching the tips to form a triangle. The hands are placed level with the chin, with the thumb tips directly under the chin. Relax, breathe long and deep, mentally vibrating Sat on the inhalation and Naam on the exhalation.
The eyes remain open, looking downwards through the triangle formed by the thumbs. Practice in total for 18-42 minutes. It takes 11 minutes for the body to adjust and consequently react to the Mudra. After the predatory phase continue for another 7, 22, 32 or 42 minutes.
