The four F’s Exercise
Take a pen and paper and simply pose the following four questions and note your responses.
In which situations do you fight as a mechanism of defence?
In which situations do you take flight and flee from a situation as a mechanism of defence?
In which situations do you diminish your self-worth and « fawn » as a mechanism of defence?
In which situations do you freeze as a mechanism of defence?
Find the set up point used in EFT. Three to four fingers widths above the nipple, when pressed this point has a tendency to be sore. Simply press this point making small circling movements and use the following affirmation…
Even though ……………e.g I need to enforce my point of view..(fight)
………………………………….e.g Avoid giving my point of view (flight)
………………………………….e.g Diminish my point of view (fawn)
………………………………….e.g become unable to speak when asked my point of view (freeze)
I completely and totally accept and love myself
