New Moon in Libra

9th November 2026 at 09:02pm

This New Moon cycle starts off with the Sun and the Moon in the constellation of Libra. This air sign is ruled by Venus, which is currently retrograde in the earth sign of Virgo.

Although the Sun and Moon are both square to Jupiter, Venus has a positive sextile.

The major theme this month then is around balance and mutuality in our relationships via conscious action, to improve ourselves, others and our environment.

It’s rather obvious that harmonious relationships based on reciprocity would benefit everyone.  However due to the many levels of perception and collective conditioning, some people have a tendency to be overly agreeable and hence give their power away with a self depreciating attitude; whilst others totally unconcerned about their morally gray uninvolved or simply indecisive attitudes create an imbalance to the fair, just, cooperative and agreeable relationships that would elevate everyone..

This month might have people from your past making contact or crossing your path; the New Moon’s square with Jupiter might limit at first what is possible, but Venus the planet of relationships is happyily reminding us that the past is indeed past; that to hold on to any energies from it simply limits our expansion and capacity to seize opportunities.

With Mercury retrograde quintaux to Saturn we might also find ourselves happily letting go of habits, spontaneously dropping addictions and simply find ourselves thinking completely differently.. do not define yourself and allow these new attributes, they will only be advantageous.

Earth and air together represent the perfect balance between Heaven and earth; helping to anchor our visions into manifestation; helping us to realize our hopes and dreams.

There is a certain vitality available that propulses us along our path, bringing harmony and balance; bringing those castles that we build in the sky into realization.  This energy helps to clarify our hopes and intentions.  Like a breath of fresh air, clearing past limiting beliefs and raising the vibration of our mind so that it holds our highest version of self currently available. Allow this air of Libra to clear away the cobwebs of your mind, to remember that the highest desire is peace and to act in all way to create it, so that we create Heaven on earth.. Allow this energy to move through your heart (look how that is an anagram of earth) and open your mind that is only holds what you think with Source and remember that Source is Love and all living things that walk this earth can elevate into peace..
