We all have our own personal stories, feeling fulfilled and peaceful in the midst of pain and difficulty requires creativity, courage and countenance. It is so much easier to be tragic rather than hopeful; it can seem to be much easier to give up trying and live without God. Discouragement and negativity simply require less effort and energy than do encouragement and faith. The creative process is not necessarily rapid, the creative path not necessarily easy, but creativity is the only way to enhance one’s experience. It is all our hard work that connects creativity to the cardinal virtue of fortitude.
